New Studio Space

Here are some photos of my new studio space at the Fort Collins Museum of Contemporary Art. I am on the 2nd floor and I have a great view of Old Town. The first project I hope to embark upon is to load up my floor loom and make some more recycled grocery bag bags. So far so good. It has been a long time since I loaded up my loom.

Fort Collins Show UPDATE

I have decided to add and subtract some pieces from the Fort Collins Show(see previous post) "May Cause Dizziness" may be included in another show, so I couldn't submit it to this one. Pieces in this show include "Villi #98", "Domestic Helmet", and "Ring @ he Rosie"(not pictured)

Fort Collins Community Arts Show

My first show in Fort Collins will be the Community Arts Show held at the Poudre River Arts Center. This show will feature local artists work in the newly managed Poudre River Arts Center Gallery. Here is the press release via Facebook.

"On February 2009 the Poudre River Arts Center Gallery in Fort Collins will reopen under the management of the Poudre River Artist’s Association and the Colorado Coalition of Artists. Artists from Northern Colorado are invited to display work in the “Fort Collins Community Open Show” being held Feb. 1-26 to mark this event"

I will be showing this piece, "May Cause Dizziness" and perhaps a few others. The opening will be held during first Friday, February 6th, 2009 from 6-9.
