The Weaving Web is the best project ever for kids. It is so simple, and they really love it. Here is the skinny. You give them each a ball of the horrid acrylic yarn that seems to multiply in the bins when you are not looking. Then you tell them to act like a spider and 'weave' a web. Voila! Instant happy kids and darn fine Community Art project. Later, when you decide to take it down all you need is a pair of scissors and the project is done.

St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Fort Collins will be holding a Summer Day Camp June 15-19th. The theme of the camp is Aslan is on the Move, a curriculum based onthe Narnia Series of Books by C.S. Lewis. We worked on props for the camp last Saturday. The kids helped make a wardrobe, lamp post and various other whimsical items from the land of Narnia.
