This painting was made for the parents of a friend of my daughter. He was only 9 years old when he passed away earlier this month. My favorite memory of him is when he was in preschool, he was swinging with my daughter and his prosthetic leg flew off because he was swinging so intently. He just laughed, hopped over, put it back on and continued swinging. He was such a wonderful spirit, despite the challenges he faced. He will be missed.

Here is a sampling of the wonderful hats made by the students at Bennett IB World School. This hat making project was part of the annual Chili Supper put on by the Bennett BCO. As you can see, we had a variety of styles and a lot of fun!!
