Aesthetic Insubordination

This show was curated by Travis Childers, an Artist I know from the DC Area.  Travis and I showed together in several group shows,  and thought of me while he was curating this show.  I am so glad he did!  Also featured in the show are Jessica Braiterman, Zofie Lang, Susan Noyes, and Donna Stack.  Curious Matter is an eclectic gallery located in Jersey City, New Jersey.  So, all of you folks in the NYC/NJ area head on out to the opening on March 10th!

New Zipper pieces

Here are photos of two new zipper pieces.  AT the top; CORSET c.2013 8"x9"x3" and under that is CROWN 6"x9"x4"each created by handstitching zippers.  Prices available on request.

Awesome time in Durango

Big thanks to the students and faculty at the Art Department of Fort Lewis College.  I had a wonderful time hanging the show and teaching a workshop there last week.  The show is up until February, so stop by and check it out.  It is a great campus and the cafeteria food is pretty great too!!  Thanks to Dr. Elizabeth Gand and Jay Dougan for this WONDERFUL opportunity!
