GOOD PENMANSHIP

I am in the process of finishing 52 pieces for my upcoming solo show "Good Penmanship".  This show focuses on the cursive alphabet.  The uppercase letters are done with fabric strips and the lowercase letters are done with hand embroidery.  The pieces will all be show at the Community Creative Center in Fort Collins, Co April 2-5, 2014 with a First Friday reception on Friday. April 5th from 6-9:00pm. 

Sustainability @ Tiffin University

These two pieces, 'Daily' and 'Stretch' will be featured in the " Sustainability" show at Tiffin University's Diane Kidd Gallery from March 20-April 17, 2014.  There will be an opening for the show on 3/20 from 4-7pm.

Fiber Celebration 2014

This piece, "Wonton" will be featured in the Fiber Celebration 2014 show at the Lincoln Center, Fort Collins, CO.  The show will run from March 14 - April 26, 2014, with an opening reception on Friday, March 14 from 5 - 7:00.

GUESTS IN THE GALLERIA ARTISTS RECEPTION

This piece, "Groundswell" will be on display and for sale during the reception.

SHOELACES!

I just installed 7 works made of shoelaces at City Drug in Old Town Fort Collins.  This piece, "Abort" is included in the show. 

I thought it would be neat to put up work that could be made from items bought at a drug store.  It will be up for a few months. 

"A Whole New Game"

This piece, "Ball Basket" has been chosen as part of the "A Whole New Game" show at the Lamont Gallery at The Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH.  The show will run from march 24-May 3, 2014.
