Good Penmanship is on the move!

I just shipped out "Good Penmanship to the Brannigan Cultural Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  So excited about the opening May 1st.  The exhibit will be accompanied by programs celebrating the art of handwriting. At the opening, I will give an artist’s talk at 5:30 in the gallery. The next day, May 2, I will offer a workshop at 11 am for a family audience. On Saturday, May 9, at 9:30 a.m., the Las Cruces Calligraphy Guild will offer a demonstration and workshop on fonts, pens, and nibs used in hand lettering. On Saturday, May 16, visitors will have the chance to learn five different kinds of lettering with members of the calligraphy guild, from 9-11 a.m.  All programs are free and open to the public.

UTAHties

I traveled to Salt Lake City to see my work, "Sugar &Spice & Everything Nice"at the UTAH ties exhibit at the CUAC gallery.  It is a beautiful gallery and I thought the show was wonderful.  John Vehar didn't think it was as great as I did.
