Here are some photos of the Brentood Arts Center. This space, formerly an auto detail warehouse and junk shop is now a wonderful studio space/Gallery space in Brentwood, Maryland. I am having the first show in this new space in Spring 2008 and I couldn't be more excited. I took a tour today of the space with John Paradiso, the manager of the center. This space, a project of Gateway CDC will also house MCNPPC's visual arts department, a classroom, and a small space that will feature fine crafts from Artists in the Arts District. It is an impressive endeavour and a huge space. If you are an artist in DC looking for studio space, you should really check it out. The Center will officially open in October, and the 'build out' for Park and Planning will be complete in February 2008. My solo show in the space"CO/MODIFY" is planned in March of 2008.
