EARTH DAY Community Arts Project

For several weeks now, I have been working on a Community Arts project called "EARTH EGGS". In partnership with College Park Arts Exchange, I have gone to four elementary schools in College Park, Maryland. At these schools I introduced the concept of "EARTH EGGS". Earth Eggs are eggs made out of recycled paper with a small note inside containing a wish for the Earth for Earth Day. The students made over 100 eggs.

On Saturday, April 19th from 10am-1pm we will create a large nest to hold all of the eggs we created. This event will be held at the Old Parish House, 4711 Knox Road, College Park, Maryland. All are welcome to assist with this free project. You can even bring yarn or ribbon to add to the nest!
