Detroit City for the Daughters of Macomb and the Morisette family reunion

During our trip West, we also stopped in Detroit fora visit with my husbands family. While we were there, the Daughters of Macomb had their annual parade and 'meeting'. To be a "Daughter of Macomb" you need to have been born in Macomb County,Michigan or lived there for over 20 years. So, sadly,I do not qualify. The daughters parade around Mount Clemens,Michigan one day a year, then they sometimes take a boat or meet at a localbar and take it over for the whole day for their meeting. As you can imagine, after a whole day of drinking the crowd becomes a bit raucous. Looks like a fun time.
