This is a great bend on the community art project. The Art House Coop, based in Atlanta has a project where they ask artists to create 5 pieces of work based on random words. The works are done on small 3"x3" canvases and will then be displayed with many other works on the walls of the Atlanta Airport. It really a great opportunity for many points of view to be represented on the walls of a very public venue. You can participate, too. info about the project can be found here.
