Colorado Open Reception Photos

The folks at the Foothills Art Center know how to throw a party. Here are some pictures from the opening last week. 200 + people turned out to see a show that was hung beautifully. Such a diverse group of works exhibited with an attention to detail. Another high point of the opening was the variety of refreshments offered. Wine, Beer, and special Foothill Martini's. The food was great and kept on coming! I don't know about you, but most shows I go to there are a few plates of fruits, vegis, cheese and crackers and once it is gone...that is it. Not at this opening. You cold have (and I'm sure a few people did) eaten your dinner with the variety and plenty of food offered at this show. Really nice show. If you are in or near Golden, Colorado in the next month, you should check it out.

WOW seems like the CO people apppreciate art openings. Glad for all of the artists that were part of it. I agree about the refreshments. The DC shows had nice food, but when it was gone, so were the caterers it seemed. Good JOB.
