One of my favorite parts of being an Artist is giving Artist talks to kids. Kids really respond to my work and I think it is great to give them a real live Artist to talk to and remember. I will be meeting today with the kids at Laurel Elementary. Laurel used to have an Artist in Residence through FCMOCA. Unfortunately, that program was discontinued. I hope that through this speech we can make another residency happen for Laurel!
