This piece "Global Grid" will be part of a silent auction/fundraiser for CHEARS, the Chesapeake Education, Arts and Research Society, a new 501(c)(3) organization. They will hold an Arts Fest on Sunday, May 6th at the New Deal Cafe in Greenbelt, MD. The theme for the evening will be “ The Art of Healing the Chesapeake Watershed” In addition to enjoying a meal together and viewing the art, we will have short presentation about Chears and a performance of dance, music and poetry inspired by the same theme. The Artists’ Reception will immediately follow the program.
