I was sad to read last week about the passing of Ladybird Johnson. She is very inspiring to me. Someone who appreciated that simple things like wildflowers could make people pause and appreciate beauty. When we first moved to Washington, DC we went the DC Environmental film festival. We saw a lovely film about Ladybird and her way of being polite, but still getting what she felt was right, done. The evidence is all over our country in highway right-of-ways and city parks.
Long live the spirit of ladybird in our hearts! Thank you for having a greater vision for us all.
